| on the money. I have a 30 minute cruise to work and back daily on I-70 and they steams me to no end. They only way I keep from losing my mind is to be as rude to them as they are being to every driver on the road. I will come out of the left lane to ride the bumper of a "hammer lane hog". I will follow them the whole way home if that is what is needed. They usually get it and slide over. Some will go right back over when you pass and then I just slow down again and make them hit the right lane to pass me. Childish.....but it makes me feel better for some reason. Truckers are the worse. At least a car you can use snake by and keep going, but trucks will block 50 cars for MILES. I will break my neck to get past them, and if they give you that little "I know what I am doing smirk" when I pass them, it gets ugly. I will move over and slow them down about 10 mph. When they move over to pass me, I pace them until all the cars behind me are on my tail and them we all cruise right past him. I will pull over to the right lane and wait for the cars to pass and then wait for the biggest damn hill I can find and make sure he hits the bottom of it at about 45 mph. Again, very childish, but so if purposely blocking that much traffic for miles just because you are a bored truck driver. And yes, they do this on purpose. I was a dispatcher when I was younger for a few years and some of my drivers would play games like this all the time. They don't care, they are bored. I am with you.
